Bex graduated from drama school in 2003 and since then has worked in Musical Theatre, Television and Films, including appearances on the BBC, ITV and Channel Four.
Her first love is still live performance, and singing the music she loves...most of which appears on The bb collective set list! Bex has sung at venues across the country, including theatres in London’s West End and at Glyndebourne Opera House. She set up The bb collective in 2006 with Blonde Bex and has loved every minute of the journey so far!
Bex has been recording, writing, producing and performing music for fifteen years; she co-founded The bb Collective after moving to London from her hometown of Sheffield.
Although starting her career with a solid classical training, she has since gone on to sing in a vast array of musical genres, her favourites being folk, soul, motown and acoustic. She has sung lead vocals in several bands over the years, most notably Ashbury, who released two albums which she co-produced.
