We've had a great couple of days at Resident Studios filming new demo videos for some of our acts. First up in May were our smaller line ups - Fly Note, Bex Bennett and Bex Reichwald which were all recorded and filmed in just one afternoon. Fly Note had a great time playing the jazz classics Pennies from Heaven, My One and Only Love and Skylark. Filipe, Duncan and Max played beautifully together as always and managed to capture the relaxed vibe they bring to events on film.
Bex Reichwald was up next with the wonderful Kim Murray on guitar, showcasing her incredible vocals with four of her favourite songs to sing - 1+1, Heard it Through the Grapevine, You Make it Real for Me and Super Duper Love.
Last up on the acoustic day at the studios was Bex Bennett, filming the duo version of her act with the fabulous Aidan Glover on piano. Bex and Aidan went for something old, something new, filming the jazz standard What a Difference a Day Made along with modern hits Where I Sleep and All of Me.
All our acoustic acts' videos are finished and up on their pages now - pour yourself a glass of Prosecco and pretend you're listening on a sunny Sunday somewhere lovely!
This week, we were back at Resident Studios to do it all again with Soul Sauce and Bombshell. Both bands performed a selection of great songs with a bit of instrument swapping and questionable dancing thrown in for good measure!
The videos for Soul Sauce and Bombshell are being edited as we speak - we can't wait to share them with you soon!
